The Merlittle's sound is notably big, delightful and fun… and its convenient built-in stand makes it doubly so. In its elevated mode Merlittle's remarkable stand remains stable – even when left freestanding on carpeting.
Merlittle was developed upon request while I was in New York. The original idea was to create a small, portable harp for a national "Healing Harp" program – a better harp that possessed "real" sound. But to facilitate that larger sound a certain dimension and weight had to tag along. Alas, this new little harp was just a tad too awkward and heavy to easily place in an inexperienced patient's hands to play. But what a great portable harp Merlittle turned out to be for the typical "on the go" harpist who wants the full sound and feel of a larger harp! If you own a Volkswagen and like to go camping – this is the harp for you. I love it.
